How to Get Involved
The Summer Sessions are intense engagements with contributing artists, residency fellows, and visiting lecturers & performers exchanging on a weekly basis. Weekends are designed around hosting guests and are full of activities. Providing the following protocols, any person may visit or get involved with Mildred’s Lane during the program season (1 May to 31 October) in one of the following ways:
Enroll in a Residency Session
Residency sessions are intensive, 1–3 week research-based and project-based engagements held between May and October. As a session fellow, you will be in residence alongside project collaborators, guest lecturers and performers, and Resident-Artists-in-Complexity during our dynamic program season.
Drop-in Enrollment by the Day
Pending availability, it is possible to enroll by the day in our residency sessions and programs. Day enrollment is generally from 10:00AM to 4:30 PM and includes a lunch-time meal.
By the day: $150/person
Overnight: $350/room

Attend an Event
We host numerous events throughout the program season that are free and open to the public — please see our social media, or follow our email newsletter to be informed of upcoming events!
We also host ticketed “Social Saturdays,” unique dinner events which constitute a signature art-form of Mildred’s Lane, several times throughout the program season. Co-curated by project collaborators and Resident-Artists-in-Complexity, Social Saturdays typically encompass a dinner party and guest lecture and/or performances by notable visiting artists.

Ticket costs support fellowships for the Resident-Artists-in-Complexity who co-curate and choreograph these unique events.
Follow our social media and newsletters for event dates and details, announced throughout the season. Tickets may be purchased on our website in advance, until they sell out — Social Saturdays are typically rain or shine!
Note: We require all visitors to sign our Hold Harmless Agreement or request a copy of the respective institutional liability waiver or other school-sanctioned off-campus activities waiver for our records.
